Tip: NHL Triple: Much at stake in the final battle of the regular season!
Current bets
We're at an exciting stage of the season with just over ten rounds left. There's a lot at stake, not least in the match between the Washington Capitals and Detroit Red Wings, a game that could very well be decisive in the battle for the last wild card spot!
Washington Capitals - Detroit Red Wings
Detroit Red Wings - Washington Capitals
Tuesday 23:00, NHL
Tonight's undoubtedly most interesting match. Two teams I didn't expect to be in the playoff contention this close to the end of the regular season. Both teams have largely impressed me, considering the somewhat subpar player material they possess. No offense to Dylan Larkin, Lucas Raymond, Patrick Kane, Alexander Ovechkin, John Carlson, among others, but there are teams behind that I believed more in. The Capitals have been in a very strong period where, among others, Vancouver, Calgary, Carolina, and Winnipeg have been defeated by Ovechkin & Co. Detroit has recovered after a poorer period, and it's evident how important Dylan Larkin is for the team, during his injury absence, the Red Wings were far from their best self. As the home team and one of the league's big exclamation marks expected in goal (Charlie Lindgren), however, I lean towards the Washington Capitals. Let's hope they are eager for revenge after the drubbing the last time the teams met and continue their fine play!

Florida Panthers - Boston Bruins
Boston Bruins - Florida Panthers
Monday 17:00, NHL
Two of the league's giants; Florida Panthers and Boston Bruins. After a bleak period, Florida turned the negative trend last time when they defeated the Philadelphia Flyers with a comfortable 4-1. Boston comes from two losses, one of which was precisely against Philadelphia. Florida also looks to be getting Aleksander Barkov back, one of the league's very best forwards, not least for his fine defensive work (besides all the goals he scores). The feeling is that Florida, with Barkov back, will be hard to stop. Boston must also face the Tampa Bay Lightning tomorrow night, and perhaps the split focus can stress slightly in the chase for the Conference win, which is still within reach. However, the home team is the side to be on in my opinion!

Toronto Maple Leafs - New Jersey Devils
New Jersey Devils - Toronto Maple Leafs
Thursday 23:00, NHL
The New Jersey Devils have definitely looked better lately. But the awakening is too late, and with just 10 rounds left, the playoff race looks almost run. Moreover, they face a tough away game against the Toronto Maple Leafs, who seem to be getting Mitchell Marner back soon, who has been missed. It's still unclear if he's ready to play tonight, but he's expected to be back in game gear shortly. The Leafs have had a tough schedule lately, and despite some losses, they have fallen with the flag flying high. They have also made some really fine efforts, including defeating the Edmonton Oilers 6-3. I believe the Devils' shaky defensive and goaltending will struggle up in Canada, we play Toronto!
