It has not been a fun season for the Buffalo Sabres. Currently, the team is third from last in the Eastern Conference with 38 points after 40 rounds. This is far from the expectations the team had for itself after the strong finish last season. Despite this, the Sabres have managed to rally and have made a couple of solid performances lately. Form is one thing, but above all, they have played very attractive hockey that has only looked better and better as they have gotten players back from injuries. I have long pointed out how fine Kraken's forward depth is and with Jaden Schwartz back along with Andre Burakovsky and Tomas Tatar who were recently recruited, the situation looks better than at any point this season. Buffalo, for their part, is coming from a couple of victories and the squad is stable even with them. It's not an easy match for Kraken to just earn points on routine, but the feeling is that it's their match to lose and I don't think they will. Seattle Kraken is usually very good at exposing defensively weaker teams that have difficulty shutting down Kraken's all chains that can be on a roll and constantly have offensive threats on the ice. The conclusion I come to is that I want to play Seattle Kraken.
